video-shotcraft is an AI agent skill developed by Vincentwei1021 that transforms Claude Code or Codex into a motion-design studio for creating cinematic product videos using Remotion. The toolkit includes 157 shot recipe cards, 214 motion previews, and a production-ready template called Ink Press, which renders at 1920×1080 resolution, 30fps, over 36.2 seconds with 10 shots featuring 2.5D real-page camera moves and cinematic SFX. Built with TypeScript and TSX components, the system provides deterministic Remotion implementations driven by normalized progress parameters. It supports beat-synced cuts, film-grade sound design, and post-delivery editing via a CapCut-style workbench that decomposes films into shot, transition, caption, and SFX tracks. Videos can be exported as editable JianYing (CapCut CN) projects with per-shot retime/reorder/grade capabilities, verified on JianYing Pro 11.2 for macOS. The library was distilled from 209 candidate motions through eight rounds of frame-by-frame review and includes assets from Mixkit under a free commercial license. Rendering requires a headless Linux environment with specific configurations: concurrency capped at 2, use of chrome-headless-shell binaries, and manual browser executable paths to bypass blocked CDNs. The skill integrates via `npx skills add` or manual symlink installation into Claude Code or Codex environments.
