Researchers are analyzing personality evolution in personality-conditioned LLM agents (PC-Agents) to improve coherence in long-term social simulations and emotional support. The study focuses on whether agents can undergo psychology-grounded personality changes following simulated life events. This work seeks to benchmark how LLM personalities shift in response to specific contextual perturbations over time.
